Sort of a parody take off on the Cirque du Soleil acrobatic show model, it combines humor, gymnastic feats, and sideshow performers into a throwback Vaudevillian variety routine. It is by far the smallest of the big Vegas shows, seating just 600 around a stage less than ten feet in diameter, for very intimate theater in the round. It is very, very funny, and also crude and raunchy. It is not for the prudish, so consider yourself warned – if you describe yourself as prim you probably want to skip it, but for the rest of us it is a can’t miss – just about every person I’ve spoken to, including myself, ranked it number one in the city.

This comedy/magic duo have been headliners in Vegas forever and with good reason: equal parts awe-inspiring illusions and sharp-witted humor continue to impress audience members even after multiple viewings. If you see one magic show in Vegas, make it Penn & Teller.
