Best Vegas Shopping

The general rule about Vegas is, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Chances are, you do not really want that to happen if you go shopping while you are there; well, hopefully you do not want that to happen, I guess that would depend on how sober you are when you go shopping. While you are there, take the time to indulge in all of the wonderful shopping opportunities you will be presented with. Get yourself something nice that you can wear out one night and take home with you when your Vegas trip has concluded.

The Shops at Crystals

You can hop on a complimentary tram from the Bellagio Las Vegas, Vdara Hotel & Spa, Monte Carlo Resort and Casino or Aria Resort & Casino to arrive at The Shops at Crystals, a collection of high-end stores located at the heart of the Strip. “Crystals is the Rodeo Drive of Las Vegas,” says Nancy Nitsche, chief concierge at the Aria. The architectural masterpiece – worth seeing for its design alone – is anchored by more than 15 supersized luxury shops, including a 14,000-square-foot Louis Vuitton, plus Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Prada, Céline, Fendi and Tiffany & Co. “It’s not just another store at Crystals,” Nitsche says.

The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace

Cobbled walkways and faux blue skies welcome you to The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, where you can peruse a 60,000-square-foot H&M, the luxury lingerie of Agent Provocateur and more. Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace concierge Margarita Martinez advises not to miss the free Fall of Atlantis fountain show, whose special effects and animatronic figures recount the myth of the fictional island. If you arrive by car, there are two convenient valet options.

Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian and Palazzo

Big, airy spaces in The Shoppes of the Palazzo are anchored by Barneys New York, and surrounded by show-stopping boutiques: Van Cleef & Arpels, Christian Louboutin, Charriol, Diane von Furstenberg, and a gorgeous Chopard boutique. The retail palace constitutes nearly a half-million square feet off the casino, and is filled with natural light, a stunning two-story waterfall and even fashion-hunting celebs. For the bookish, there’s the gorgeous outpost of New York’s famous Bauman Rare Books, and the jewelry- and watch-obsessed should head straight to Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Vacheron Constantin. Take a light shopping break at SushiSamba, or a more decadent break at Carlo’s Bakery, the always-crowded Vegas outpost of the Cake Boss.

Fashion Show Mall

The two-million-square-foot mall across the street from Wynn Las Vegas is marked by its UFO-shaped canopy (which inspired Steve Wynn to erected a wall, just to hide it from view of his property). It’s the locals’ go-to for multiple department stores (like Saks, Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom), plus, yes, another Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co., as well as a Zara that will soon be 30,000 square feet, as part of a massive new expansion to the exterior plaza.
