Edge Steakhouse at the former Hilton Las Vegas – LVH – renovated by Westgate is probably the best fine dining option for value. They are said to offer twice the food for half the price, if not less, than you would will find at its Strip counterparts. Even providing the excellent price for realistic portions of food, it is not lacking in any of the flavor. Edge steaks are towering hunks of prime beef served on pure white plates. The steaks are paired with maitre’d hotel butter and a clove of garlic. Although they offer exceptional entrees, some locals like to come here just for the sides.
Here are some of Edge Steakhouse’s most popular dishes:
Spicy Shrimp – Lightly fried, spicy emulsion and sweet chile reduction.
Artisan Meat & Cheese Board – Consists of the chef’s selections, fresh honeycomb and candied pecans.
Chilled Seafood for Two – Includes King Crab, shrimp, oysters, lobster, cocktail sauce and lemon beurre monté.
Steak & Lobster – 7oz. filet & 6oz. lobster tail along with your choice of side.
Beef Wellington – foie gras, potato puree, glazed vegetables and bordelaise.
Wagyu Ribeye Cap – 7oz.
Dry Agen New York Strip – 20oz. and it is bone in.
Black & White Truffle Mac & Cheese – This is by far the favorite side by anyone that has tried it. It includes black truffle, white cheddar, gruyère, parmesan, ditalini pasta and demi-glace.
Death by Chocolate Cake – Finish your wonderful meal with some of the best cake you have had, which is paired with a side of vanilla bean ice cream.
